Well, the month of April is creeping up on me. I will be turning 30. Yes, 360 months. 3 decades. Where has the time gone?!! Thirty, is the new 22!

As I grow in age, I value women who are over 30 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:

A woman over 30 will never wake you in the middle of the night to ask, "What are you thinking?". She doesn't care what you think.

If a woman over 30 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do. And, it's usually something more interesting.

A woman over 30 knows herself well enough to be assured in who she is, what she is, what she wants and from whom. Few women past the age of 30 give a damn what you might think about her or what she's doing.

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.

A woman over 30 has the self-assurance to introduce you to her women
friends. A younger woman with a man will often ignore even her best friend because she doesn't trust the guy with other women. Women over 30 couldn't care less if you're attracted to her friends because she knows her friends won't betray her.

Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 30 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.

Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one! You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.

Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free." Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage.

Kyler had so much fun with his cousins last weekend. We live 3 hours from Coreys family and 4 hours from mine. So, cousin time is very important!

Monsters VS Aliens

Logan and I had mom/son movie night and so we saw Monsters vs Aliens. It was a really cute movie. He had a lot of fun and ate tons of popcorn, m&m's and an icee!

Logan had a lot fun making his cake. He won "most original cake." He got a red ribbon and then he got to sell his cake in the auction. Then, he bought his friends cake! He really wanted to buy his own cake, I think he wanted the popcorn covered in karo syrup! We had a fun night :)

Logan and I have to make a cake tonight for his scout meeting. I have to think of something that can be easily decorated. My mind is blank. He is a "wolf" so I have to incorporate that into the design. I will post pictures tomorrow :)

Jungle Talk

Three animals were having a huge argument over who was the best.
The first, a hawk, claimed that because of his ability to fly, he could attack anything repeatedly from above, and his prey had nary a chance.
The second, a lion, based his claim on his strength ... None in the forest dared to challenge him.
The third, a skunk, insisted he needed neither flight nor strength to frighten off any creature.
As the trio debated the issue, an alligator came along and swallowed them all ... hawk, lion and stinker.

Karate

Logan starts karate on Thursday. We are going to do a trial for 4 weeks to see if he enjoys it. If he does, then we can sign him up for a longer session. He seems pretty excited about it!

The minute Corey saw this cruise online he knew we had to go. He is a huge fan of the bands performing. Me? Not so much! We both win though, he sees the bands he loves and I get a vacation with lots of sun in November! They have a contest to win 2 free tickets also. All I have to do is create a myspace page promoting this cruise. I really think I have a chance at this! I am a myspace guru when it comes to designing pages. I have to have it done by June 1st. I will post the link when I finally finish it!

Logan loves tennis. We went on Wednesday when it was really nice out. The park must have put the nets up that day.

Vacation for 2

Corey and I have booked a cruise for November. I am excited but nervous because I just don't know how I will handle 5 nights away from the boys. Plus, I will be on a ship with no cell service and I am sure it will cost an arm and leg to make a phone call from my room. Kyler will be 2 in November so he will be talking up a storm. Everyone is telling me once I get on the cruise, it will go by so fast I wont even have time to think about missing the kids. YEA RIGHT!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The best I could do for Logan today is send him to school in a dress shirt with a tiny bit of green. Today is school picture day so I really wanted him to wear a dress shirt. I am anxious to get out of work today since it will be so warm. My work is having a health screening for our insurance company and we get a $50.00 gift card just for participating. They check your blood pressure, weight, cholesterol, BMI, heart rate, etc.

Derby!

This weekend we are going to the Boy Scout Derby Districts! Logan is so proud of this car :)

Long Weekend

Corey had his sleep apnea study on Friday night. Saturday we drove 4 hours to see my family. We had a cook out since the weather was permitting. Yesterday we drove back home and played outside most of the day. Corey put new brakes on our Razor electric bike and took the kids for a few rides. It's funny how the neighborhood comes to life on the first really nice day. It's like we all come out from hibernation.

Pop Evil

Last night I went and saw my friends in the band Pop Evil. It was their first time in Toledo and the crowd LOVED them. It's so refreshing to see a band actually "making it" and staying so down to earth along the way. Love you guys, see you at Rock on the Range!

My Mother is On Facebook

Its so funny how much the internet has changed communication. When I want to know what my mom is doing, I can log into facebook and see her current status. My brothers mood is often easily traced by looking at myspace. My dad sends me an email every morning. My sister Cori and Amy are my texting buddies. My grandma is even on myspace. She loves looking at all the kids pictures.

Then, there is my sister Leah. We talk up to 3 times a day on the phone! Hardly any internet communication at all with her. We dont even know what we are calling each other for.

I love my big family. 3 sisters and 1 brother. There is NEVER a dull moment!

Day 6

Its day 6 of the antibiotics and I am not feeling much better. The old saying is you feel worse before you feel better though.

We had Coreys family in town for the weekend. Corey took all the kids to play laser tag. Then, he played rock band with them. That was a site to see. Two minutes after they headed back to Columbus, Logan was saying he already missed them. He loves having kids over that play army guys with him. When Logan has kids over it seems like toys come out of the woodwork that I havent seen in years. He pulls every toy out that he has ever owned.

When Logan was little, they only thing he EVER wanted was animal figurines to play with. He would lay on the floor for hours playing with them. I really need to dig out some old video of him and post it.

Doctor

It's official. I have a sinus infection and upper resp. infection. Today I had an EKG and blood tests. Dont you just love doctors?! I put off going to the doc till I can barely function. Its possible that I have a hyperactive thyroid. Low iron. Hmmm...only time will tell though until the test come back.

Well, today is Kyler's first dentist appt. He hated us brushing his teeth until about a week ago. We bought him an electric kids brush and now he will brush for 5 minutes if we let him.

Logan had to sit down and write a poem last night about a bird he likes.

After about 30 minutes, he came up with this:

My dad

My dad will be 52 this year. He just started an email account last week. My younger sister said she gets a kick out of watching him typing. Since we live 4 hours away, email is a great way for us to talk about the day to day happenings with my boys. Every morning, I find myself smiling when I check my email and he has written. I am glad he isn't afraid of technology.

I am counting down to see who Jason picks tonight, I cant wait! I hope he picks Melisa. She just seems so down to earth. Me and my reality shows!

Just found out that Logans school is changing from K-6 grade to K-8 grade next year. Middle school pretty much gets elimated. In once sense, the kids will be familiar with the school and students, but on the other hand, I was so happy when I went to middle school and left the "little kids".
